When is the election?
Voting day is scheduled for October 20, 2025. Advance voting will also be available several days before the main election day to give everyone a chance to participate.How do I register to vote?
If you are a Canadian citizen, 18 years or older on election day, and live in Edmonton, you are eligible to vote. Most eligible voters are automatically registered based on their provincial health care records. To confirm or update your registration, you can visit the City of Edmonton’s election website or contact the election office directly.Where can I vote?
Polling stations will be set up throughout Edmonton, including advance voting locations. You can find your assigned voting station by checking the voter information card mailed to you or by visiting the official election website.What do I need to bring to vote?
You will need to bring valid identification showing your name and address. Examples include a driver’s license, government-issued ID, or a utility bill with your name and address.Can I vote by mail or online?
Edmonton currently does not offer online voting, but mail-in ballots may be available for eligible voters with special circumstances.
